Join us for the 11th Annual Clayton BBQ Cook Off, a Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event.
This year’s festival will feature a 4-meat competition (chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder, and brisket) as more than 40 BBQ Masters and backyard chefs face off to take home over $10,000.00 in prize monies.
The festival takes place on TBA 2021 with Pro Pitmasters and Backyard Chefs competitions, food vendors, local craft beer, live music and more.
Expanding into a 2-day festival will bring more Vendors, more food booths, including KCBS Competitors selling their products to the public, expanded beer selection, live music and more.
Don’t miss this tasty event as historic Clayton is transformed into a BBQ paradise.
Presented by the Clayton Business and Community Association and sanctioned by The Kansas City Barbeque Society.
KCBS Competitors, have to enter all 4 meats (chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder, and brisket). For the first time, KCBS Teams can vend to the public. Our Backyard Competitors will cook and enter chicken and ribs, only. More details and sign up forms will be available in the coming weeks.

This is a four meat competition. Kansas City Barbeque Society Pro Pitmaster contestants must cook all four meats (chicken, ribs, pork shoulder, and brisket) with a chance to cash plus trophies.

Backyard BBQ’ers Prizes
This is a two meat competition that takes place: TBA 2021. Backyard BBQ’ers will cook chicken and ribs to compete for a chance to win up to $700 plus trophies.
